This is one of my favorite videos, it looks like a divorce case, however, if you pay attention to the clothes they are wearing, you will understand it shows the disconnect that advertisers have with their customers. It really captures how advertisers see the world – and how consumers are asking for a “divorce”.
It makes me to think in the business world, what kind of relationship marketers or business owners want to have with their customers? Are they want a transactional, impersonal, temporary, short-term relationship? Rather, they want a relationship that’s intimate, passionate, loyal, and long-term?
