Believe in Yourself and Your Product or Service

One of the most impor­tant keys to suc­cess in your life, or in your busi­ness is your belief in your­self and your prod­uct or service.

If you do not firmly believe in your­self, your own abil­i­ties, knowl­edge, and expe­ri­ence, then you can­not expect oth­ers to believe it. If you have no con­fi­dence in your­self, and if you do not believe in your prod­uct or ser­vice, then you will never be able to con­vince oth­ers, as well as your cus­tomers to believe in you, your prod­uct or service.

In the process to increase your belief and attain busi­ness growth, you can use your pos­i­tive think­ing skills to achieve it.

To begin this process, take out a sheet of paper and write two head­ings at the top. The first head­ing should read “Me” and the sec­ond head­ing should read “My Product/Service”. Now take a minute to write down every pos­i­tive aspect and ben­e­fit that comes to mind about each. Do not fil­ter you thoughts at this point. Write down every­thing even if it doesn’t seem to be directly related to the topic. Once you have a rough draft of the list, you need to review it and weed out the state­ments that are unnec­es­sary for this exercise.

After you have nar­rowed down the list to only include mean­ing­ful, con­crete state­ments and ben­e­fits, you need to turn each state­ment into a pos­i­tive affir­ma­tion. For exam­ple, you can turn “4 years of expe­ri­ence in mar­ket­ing” into the fol­low­ing affirmation.

“I can use my 4 years of mar­ket­ing expe­ri­ence to suc­ceed at every aspect of my business”.

Once you have turned every state­ment into an appro­pri­ate affir­ma­tion, repeat those affir­ma­tions often to strengthen your beliefs. Once these state­ments become part of your core beliefs, they will sneak their way into every­thing you do and say.

And remem­ber that believ­ing con­tain no doubt and it is absolute faith.
