So the new 2012 is here, hope you days went well. I have follow my ‘to do list’ quite well this time, and already got few targeted things done within the deadlines, one of them is I got official MBA on the Google+. Today I wanted to send you this quick after New Year message, to hopefully both encourage and “push” you.
I thought up a few points, I guess I will call them the 4 D’s.
Determined
Let’s talk about determined. As I know, many of you have been truly determined to succeed in those things you do, and you have worked hard at it, some of you have succeeded, some of you haven’t.
See, life is like rolling stone, it is different and changing every moment, sometime it is sunshine, sometime it is storming, sometime it is in the shade. By that, difficult and challenge time does come, but it’s your attitude to the situation that matters, not anything else. Your attitude can either bring you down or raise you to greater heights.
Different
This past year has been different and pretty unique for me. There has been a lot of changes in my life (professionally), whether it is happen for good or not so good, I really don’t know, just accept whatever it comes, go with the flow and say ‘Alhamdulliah’ (Thanks God), till the end, HE is the only one who knows the best.
Difficult
As work in the field of online marketing by profession, I have been through and experiences lots of changes in the past year. Combining these changes with the changes to the economy, it is not easy for many people to get by and/or to get their products out there for people to see, especially for people who are selling stuff through the Internet. But difficult doesn’t mean impossible. When things change, we, as marketers, have to change as well.
Deadlines
Bundle the word ‘deadlines’ with the word ‘goals’ together will be more powerful and effective. One thing that I always found helpful is to set specific smaller goals with deadlines to meet, narrow the scope, write them down on the paper. Sometime I also use images, pictures etc and post them to my vision board to got me reminded on the things I have to do.
Yes, I do face the difficult time, but I do not allow those situations take control. Instead what I do is to be determined, set goals with deadlines and Just Do It! You know what – the results really turn out amazing.
