Time pass fast, my relaxing weekend almost over and soon will dive into that busy business world. Honestly, I am not sure it is because I am getting old, or because the day shortens, time seems like passed extremely fast this year.
Well, anyway, let it be.
At time of writing this article, I am surrounding by many people and the noises because I am sitting in the Starbucks at The Mall (sometime you need to get yourself out from your quiet home and come out to feel the real life).
To me, it is a kind of blessing by just sits here having coffee, spend time with my laptop and watching other people.
The next table to me is a group of 4 young locals; one of the guys is preaching his Amyway business to the other 3 youngsters – 2 girls and 1 boy. The guy that speaks also young, his voice is very loud, he is very enthusiastic and passionate about his business, he is sharing his life and experiences with them, and he also keep telling them about what are the benefits and life style they will have if they start their Amyway business, how much will they earn, what the earning structure looks like, what are the things they need to do in order to build and develop their own team, what kind of people they need to target etc.
It is interesting to listen his preach, I agreed with one thing he said, there is nothing easy in this world, to reach from one level to the next, it takes time, effort and determination, you really need to work on it.
Back to my rambling, yesterday (Saturday), we had Halaqa at Sandichun Islamic School, Alhamdulillah, many people came to attend the event and they all had a great time. We organize it once every 3 months.
If you don’t know what the Halaqa means, it is an Arabic word meaning circle or ring, a religious gathering or meeting for the primary purpose of learning about Islam. Generally, there is one or more primary speakers will present the designed topic (s) while others sit and listen. The attendees may participate in the discussions, ask questions etc, and we had 3 speakers (Iman) came to give the lecture yesterday.
Well, due to I have a Quran class needs to attend, so I didn’t get chance to listen all of their speech.
The picture you see on above is me with my Quran teacher, this is my 3rd class with her, she is correcting my Arabic pronunciation and helping me improve my Quran recitation, so far, the progress is going well.
Read and recite Quran are two different things, I can read it but when comes to recitation, I really need to work on my pronunciation.
