Amazon Shopping

In recent years, online shopping has become increasingly popular; it is the process whereby consumers directly buy goods or services from a seller in real-time, without an intermediary service, over the Internet. However, it still caters to the middle and upper class. In order to shop online, one must be able to have access to a computer, a bank account and a debit card. Shopping has evolved with the growth of technology.

Among those online retailers, Amazon is the largest online retailer in the United States, with nearly three times the Internet sales revenue of the runner up as of January 2010, according Staples, Inc.

Its product lines include books, music CDs, videotapes and DVDs, software, consumer electronics, kitchen items, tools, lawn and garden items, toys & games, baby products, apparel, sporting goods, gourmet food, jewelry, watches, health and personal-care items, beauty products, musical instruments, clothing, industrial and scientific supplies, and groceries.
