These days women are prepared to spend more on a handbag than a holiday or even a car — and we want the rest of the world to know it. Clothes are redundant — it’s all about the bags. Men can hardly understand or will never understand why women love buy bags! The rising popularity of handbags over the past 100 years has followed the increasing social independence of women.
For women, the right bag can make us feel goes far deeper than just being a way of carrying things around. Both revealing and concealing, it also represents something deeply private to its owner. A bag contains our survival kit for daily life in the urban jungle — from mobile phone, make-up, money and keys, to hair straighteners, laptops, Blackberries, chewing gum or a change of clothes.
For me, I find bags so desirable. I love fashion and trendy stuff, especially those beautiful fine quality accessories. It is a unique outward statement of a woman’s status and fashion savvy. I use bags to carry my possessions. From time to time, if without have my handbags with me, I will feel uncomfortable.
