<p>Be all you can be, however, it’s not easy to get there. Often time, you may see yourself as somewhat contented with your life the way things are, but it becomes hard to think of anything else when where are real issues to be discussed, still, you aspire for something deeper and more meaningful.</p>
<p>In the life, we’re all pelted with problems. But honestly speaking, it shouldn’t even bother or even hinder you to becoming all you ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within you, even though it would be short-lived or as long as you could hold on to the dream. </p>
<p>Below are the 9 questions you should ask yourself in the path to be all you can be. <span id="more-405"></span></p>
<p><strong>1. What do you really want?</strong></p>
<p>The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.</p>
<p>Find something that you are good at which can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.</p>
<p><strong>2. Should you really change?</strong></p>
<p>Today’s generation has taken another level of redefining ‘self’, or at least that’s what the kids are saying. </p>
<p>Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?</p>
<p>If history has taught you one thing, it’s the life that you have gone through. Try to see if partying 70’s style wouldn’t appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is part of partying, watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing.</p>
<p><strong>3. What’s the bright side in all of this?</strong></p>
<p>With so much things that happening around you, sometime it seems to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. No matter whatever the situation you are in, you can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it’s a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!</p>
<p><strong>4. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?</strong></p>
<p>There’s always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and what are not. It doesn’t take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we’ll all be equally the same in everything we do — variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.</p>
<p><strong>5. Have you done enough for myself?</strong></p>
<p>Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you’ll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.</p>
<p><strong>6. Are you happy at where you are today?</strong></p>
<p>I know it is an unfair question, so let it be an answer! Example, you love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life under every situation.</p>
<p><strong>7. Are you appealing to the opposite sex?</strong></p>
<p>Maybe you don’t have an answer to that yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t try it though. Whether you <a href="http://www.annliublog.com/blog/category/body-and-mind"><u>shape-up</u></a>, change the way you wear your clothes, or the look of your hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember that it always be for your own benefit.</p>
<p><strong>8. How much could you have?</strong></p>
<p>The true fact is there is no such things on having things too much or too little, but it’s more on how badly you really need it. You’d like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it?</p>
<p><strong>9. What motivates you?</strong></p>
<p>What motivates you? It’s an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make one’s happy, but to choose one of them may be the hardest part. It’s not like you can’t have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that’s it. So try it piece by piece.</p>
<p>Always remember that, self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, it’s something that you really want, so don’t ever never giving up before you even start that journey.</p>

<p>When you look at a certain object, a painting just an inch away from your face, for example — you may not appreciate what’s in it, what is painted and what else goes with it. But if you pay attention and try to take it a little further, you’ll have a clearer vision of the whole art work.</p>
<p>It is the same thing apply to when you reach to a point in your life when you are ready for change, you will find there is a <a href="http://www.annliublog.com/blog/recommends/selfhelpstreet.html"><u>whole bunch of information that can help you to unlock your self improvement power</u></a>, which means unlocking yourself up in the cage of thought that “its just the way I am”. </p>
<p>In many cases, the only time you think of unlocking yourself improvement power is when everything got worst. Let’s take the frog principle for example – <span id="more-400"></span></p>
<p>Try placing Frog A in a pot of boiling water. What happens? He twerps! He jumps off! Why? Because he is not able to tolerate sudden change in his environment – the water’s temperature. Then try Frog B: place him in a luke warm water, then turn the gas stove on. Wait til the water reaches a certain boiling point. Frog B then thinks “Ooh… it’s a bit warm in here”.</p>
<p>In general, people are like Frog B in general. Today, Jean thinks Carl hates her. Tomorrow, Patrick walks up to her and told her he hates her. Jean stays the same and doesn’t mind her what her friends says. The next day, she learned that Kim and John also abhors her. Jean doesn’t realize at once the importance and the need for self improvement until the entire community hates her. </p>
<p>See, people learn their lessons when they experience pain. You finally see the warning signs and signals when things get rough and tough. </p>
<p>When none of your jeans and shirts would fit you, you realize that you need to change diets. When all of your teeth has fallen off, you stop eating candies and chocolates. When your lungs have gone bad, you realize that your need to stop smoking. When you realize that you are gonna die tomorrow, you pray and ask for help.</p>
<p>See, the only time most of us ever learn about unlocking our self improvement power is when the whole world is crashing and falling apart. </p>
<p>Change will happen, like it or hate it. At one point or another, we are all going to experience different turning points in our life, and we are all going to eventually unlock our self improvement power. It is not because the world says so, it is not because friends are nagging you, but it is because you realized its for your own good.</p>
<p>Happy people don’t just accept change, they embrace it. For people who fear and resist change is just a poor excuse. </p>
<p>Well, I understand that <a href="http://www.annliublog.com/blog/recommends/selfhelpstreet.html"><u>self improvement</u></a> may not be everybody’s favorite word, but if you look at things in a different point of view, you might have greater chances of enjoying the whole process instead of counting the days until you are fully improved. </p>
<p>And just when you are enjoying the whole process of unlocking your self improvement power, you’ll realize that you’re beginning to take things light and become happy <img src='http://www.annliublog.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<strong>Suffering from Bellyfat?</strong><br />

<p>Like many people, you probably suffer from regional fat storage issues. That is, while you store fat over your entire body, it’s probably most noticeable in certain areas, and it’s from these areas in which we struggle most to lose fat. You know — the problem areas.</p>
<p>These problem areas are influenced heavily by your hormonal environment, and where you store that last bit of fat is determined by which of your hormones are most out of whack (and yes, sometimes it’s quite a few of them).</p>
<p>Today I’m going to talk to you about bellyfat specifically.</p>
<p>One of the things that has been talked about quite a bit in fitness media lately is the relationship between bellyfat and a hormone called “cortisol.” To put it simply, the higher your cortisol levels, the more bellyfat you’re likely to have.</p>
<p>By the same token, if you have a good deal of bellyfat, it’s reasonable to assume that you have high cortisol.</p>
<p>Having high cortisol is detrimental for other reasons, but for our purposes, let’s focus on the fact that cortisol is keeping you not-so-little in the middle.</p>
<p>Rather than just suffer through this, the obvious solution is to try to lower cortisol levels and resultantly lower bellyfat. And I’ll tell you, lowering cortisol is a LOT trickier than you might think.</p>
<p>I’m sure you’ve seen the late night TV ads trying to sell you anti-cortisol pills. Even if they worked (they don’t), it’s a hormone like cortisol can’t be fooled by a little pill.</p>
<p>Besides, wouldn’t it be much more effective to find a solution without taking expensive pills? Something that is also going to help you burn fat overall?</p>
<p>     <strong>Well, that’s actually possible.</strong></p>
<p>You see, I’m big on using certain hormones to tame other hormones. Essentially, you CAN actually fight hormones WITH hormones. Clever, I know. It’s just a matter of finding which hormones work well against one another. When it comes to cortisol (and bellyfat), you need look no further than gH… or GrowthHormone.</p>
<p>Also known as Human-GrowthHormone or simply gH, GrowthHormone is produced in the pituitary gland and is responsible for growth (obviously) among other things. More specific to this writing, GrowthHormones is actually one of the most effective things in the world to offset cortisol.</p>
<p>Put simply, if you want less cortisol, just make more GrowthHormone.</p>
<p>Just tell you body to do it. Make a few calls.</p>
<p>Okay okay, it’s not that simple…but I have some really good news.</p>
<p>Did you know that there are certain types of training that are actually exceedingly effective at producing GrowthHormone?</p>
<p>It’s true-indirectly.</p>
<p>You see, GrowthHormone is normally produced and released in response to something, and in the case of training, gH is released as a response to the production of something called lactic acid. Lactic acid is a waste byproduct of some of the chemical and metabolic processes that happen during exercise.</p>
<p>So, if you do exercise in a specific way, you can produce MORE lactic acid, which will then produce tremendous amounts of GrowthHormone as a result. <p>To quantify it a bit, for each rep, you’d lift it over a period of about 4 seconds, and lower the weight extremely quickly, but safely.</p>
<p>If you were squatting, you’d drop down to the bottom position relatively quickly, and push slowly back to the top. In an overhead press, you’d lower the dumbbells quickly but safely, and press them back over your head over a period of 4–6 seconds.</p>
<p>Performing exercises with these extended concentric movements is going to create a tremendous amount of lactic acid, which in turn is going to prompt your body to produce fantastic amounts of GrowthHormone. And that GrowthHormone is going to help you manage cortisol and fight bellyfat.</p>

<p>The weather here is not pleasant at all, extremely cold (for me) and outside is snowing now, very heavy and also very windy too. I haven’t been living in this kind of weather for so long time, and I find my body is hard to adopt into it. Anyway, let’s hope the snow can get over soon and the weather can get better. </p>
<p>When I were surfing the net, I find this interesting article that I want to share it with you. <p>Believe it or not you can <strong>get lean by eating fast food</strong>! Yea, this may sounds crazy, but there’s a WAY to eat fast food and drop the pounds, and you can’t just eat like everyone else does, that’s common sense.</p>
<p>And believe me, there are more healthy ways to drop the pounds than eating fast food, that is for sure.</p>
<p>But the way I figure it is this: Would you rather be healthIER and lean or UNhealthy and overfat?</p>
<p>Okay, here are the 3 top tips for how to fatloss by eating fast food, just these 3 will take you 1/3 of the way there. <span id="more-369"></span></p>
<p>First, use <strong>Half-n-Half Principle</strong>. Order whatever you are going to order and then have the person behind the counter cut the order exactly in HALF.</p>
<p>Half to take away… half to eat there.</p>
<p>Eat half now, then the other half eat 3–4 hours later. No matter you believe it or not, you will store less bodyfat and even increase your metabolism by eating like this.</p>
<p>Simple trick … give it a shot.</p>
<p>Second, <strong>ditch all the starch</strong>, which means buns, bread and anything that made of flour. </p>
<p>BUT here’s the “still tastes good” trick I use. I keep ONE of the pieces of bread from, say, my hamburger. Then I “pick” at it while I enjoy the meat and either a small diet soda or tea. Eat no more than 5 “picks” at the bread, it is about half a slice. And you still get the exact taste of a burger with none of the stuff that makes most people over-fat.</p>
<p>Third, for chicken lovers, <strong>split your order between fried and baked chicken</strong>. KFC has excellent baked chicken, try it. Then strip most of the skin off the fried chicken. Not all, but the most.</p>
<p>You still get the taste, but with far fewer bad food-stuffs and calories, is that make sense to you?</p>

<p>Wow … this one blew me away. My friend and fitness author Jon Benson just got back from a 3-week business vacation and LOST 11 lbs of bodyfat. Here’s the email he sent me detailing how he did it, enjoy!  </p>
<blockquote><p>Hi Ann,</p>
<p>It was the weirdest thing …</p>
<p>I mean, I’ve been around, you know? I’ve had just about every body and fatloss experience you can think of … the good, the bad, the ugly…</p>
<p>… and now the really bizarre.</p>
<p>Here’s the story:</p>
<p>I took off on an 8-day cruise to the Caribbean. This was a “business” cruise (yeah, right) and I knew there was no way to eat the way I prefer to eat. At least not ideally. After that I had to speak in Tampa Florida at a fitness summit, then off to Las Vegas for yet another summit meeting.</p>
<p>All-in-all I was gone for almost three weeks.</p>
<p>First thing that I knew had to go was my “ideal” dietplan.</p>
<p>That’s my “Extreme” Plan on the <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.everyotherdaydiet.com/go/bblweb/video"><u>Every Other Day Dietplan</u></a>.</p>
<p>There are three plans in <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.marketingbyann.com/recommends/everyotherdaydiet.html"><u>EODD</u></a>: <strong>The Primer Plan, which is literally “every other day”</strong>. You get to eat your favorite foods within reason every other day or so on this Plan. It’s perfect for folks who ‘hate’ dieting because, let’s face it, anyone can diet-for a day, right? Right.</p>
<p>Then there’s the<strong> Lifestyle Plans</strong>. These are two days of “burn eating” followed by a day of eating favorite foods. Most people use this because it too is so simple to use.</p>
<p>Then for we athletes and fitness pros there’s the <strong>Extreme Plan</strong>. This is for ultimate bodyfat loss and muscle-shaping. I love this plan.</p>
<p>But hey… it’s a vacation. And so I decided to eat on the Primer Plan, remember, that’s every other day. So every other day on the cruise I had a small dessert (sometimes two), pizza, or pasta… whatever I wanted within reason. The days before I did perfectly, substituting my morning shake for egg white omelets with a bit of cheese and a lot of veggies. Yum!  </p>
<p>Within three days I had LOST more than 4 lbs… or about 2 kg. Pure fat… well, a bit of water I suppose, but mostly that stubborn bodyfat around my middle that’s the last to go.</p>
<p>What the heck was going on?</p>
<p>Wait… the story gets better…</p>
<p>I move on to Tampa, and then Vegas, and now I’m 11 lbs (about 5 kg) down. My jeans ALL require a belt, only this time it’s not a fashion statement.</p>
<p>Frankly, I’m as surprised as you may be.</p>
<p>But I figured out why this happened. And I want to share it with you so you can use <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.marketingbyann.com/recommends/everyotherdaydiet.html"><u>EODD</u></a> (or another plan if you want but mine is the best… <img src='http://www.annliublog.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' />  when you go on vacation or take a break.</p>
<p>Here’s why I dropped the last bit of my bodyfat:</p>
<p>First, I was on a VERY large cruise ship. I knew my weight training would not be as intense (the weights were not that heavy) but I also knew I could just make it work .. train a bit more and go for the “pump”… just a good, quick workout. I ended up training 5 days on the cruise without a problem (and only ONE day of cardio for 20 minutes… you see, you do NOT need cardio to dump bodyfat!)</p>
<p>But the difference was in the WALKING. The ship was the largest ever built… the size of 2.5 football fields. And I walked everywhere… on the islands, on the boat, even to every meal. Just walking burned off FAR more calories than my normal lifestyle, which like most of you has a lot of sitting down to it. ; )</p>
<p>Walking… my favorite “Cardio” to this very day.</p>
<p>Second, I took extra potassium, along with all of my radical fatloss blueprint supplements. I carried them all on board.</p>
<p>The two that really did the trick for me was the Aqualize (also known as Acquacil), only 1–2 a day, along with the amino acids.</p>
<p>Finally, I realized that I need MORE food than I’m eating now in order to increase my metabolic rate. Just a bit… about 400 calories a day more than I have been eating. Doing just that rebooted my metabolic rate and presto… 11 lbs of bodyfat and useless water is history. My abs have never looked better.</p>
<p>I hope this gives you some encouragement when it comes to being on the road or on vacation. With the right plan (like <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.marketingbyann.com/recommends/everyotherdaydiet.html"><u>EODD</u></a> and Radical Fatloss) you can actually improve your body…</p>
<p>… and best of all, I enjoyed every minute of my vacation!  </p>
