One Cool Fitness Tip for Women

Okay guys, this may not be for you. But I can promise you that the women in your life, your spouse, sister, daughters or friends will appreciate it. And ladies, this is just too good to pass by, so I am sharing it here with you.

As ladies, we need to taking care of ourselves, taking care of our body, getting fit after a certain age, especially after having a kiddo or two or more can be a real challenge (personally I don’t have this experience, so I’m told). But pro trainer Holly, knows all about this challenge. She too lost her figure after having her little tyke Tyler. And she is in better shape now than when she was in high school! Why We REALLY Overeat?

Fair warning, this one is a rant. It’s probably a bit long, but take the time to read it. I have some things to get off my chest, and I believe a lot of people reading this will find it refreshing.

We have a problem in this country, well, actually in this world — with people overeating.

Obviously overeating is one of the primary reasons people are struggling with bellyfat and excess bodyweight in general. The solution to this problem is not “don’t eat so much”, although that is the end goal. The solution is to really, REALLY understand how your body uses fuel and how to create a diet plan that allows you to take advantage of it. Emotional Eating

Apologies for the super-short article today but I just saw this and had to share it with you.

Ready?

A study in Psychosomatic Medicine has confirmed that people tend to consume food in order to self-medicate their feelings of stress or anxiety. They call it “emotional eating.”

I know… it’s a real shocker. ;-)

But this isn’t meant to be cute or light about this diet-wrecker. Continue reading “Emotional Eating” »
