Sometimes it can be difficult to tell the difference between falling in love and falling into love. This is especially true at the beginning of a relationship. It is easy to think that you have found true love as the intensity of infatuation takes over your life. Love, however, rarely comes on suddenly. It is a slow, gradual process that can only happen after the rush of infatuation starts to ebb.

As you know, being in love, there are three main qualities go with: attraction, closeness, and commitment. Relationships can be about any or all of these. Continue reading “What You Say About Fall-IN-Love and Fall-INTO-Love?” »

What is the Meaning and Purpose of Life?

At some point in their lives, scientists, historians, philosophers, writers, psychologists and the common man all wrestle with this question — What is the purpose of life? Throughout the ages, philosophers have considered it to be the most fundamental question.

When you ask ‘Why do we eat?’ ‘Why do we sleep?’ ‘Why do we work?’ — people can easily answer those questions, such as ‘I eat because I need to live.’ ‘I sleep because I need to rest.’ ‘I work because I have to support myself, my kids and my family.’ etc. But when it comes to what the purpose of life is, many people are confused, and the most common answer will be, “I really don’t know!”

Darwinians thought the meaning of life was to reproduce. Will Durant (the most noted philosopher of the last century), capturing the predicament of postmodern man, wrote, “Faith and hope disappear; doubt and despair are the order of the day, it is not our homes and our treasuries that are empty, it is our ‘hearts’.”, See, when it comes to meaning of life, even the wisest philosophers are just guessing. Why is it Important to Improve Yourself?

Sometimes, when all of our doubts, fears and insecurities wrap ourselves up, we always come up with the idea of “I wish I was somebody else.” More often than not, we think and believe that someone or rather, most people are better than us, but when in the reality, the fact is — most people are more scared than us.

You spot a totally eye-catching girl sitting by herself at a party, casually sipping on a glass of Asti Spumanti. You think to yourself, “she looks so perfectly calm and confident.” But if you could read throw her transparent mind, you would see a bunch of clouds of thoughts running around there, and you might just be amazed that she’s thinking “are people talking about why I am seated here alone? … Why don’t guys find me attractive? … I don’t like my ankles, they look too skinny … I wish I was as intelligent as my best friend.” Continue reading “Why is it Important to Improve Yourself?” »

How to Make Gel Candles as Gifts for Your Loved One

When a loved-one or any special person celebrates a memorable day of his or her life, gifts would always be at the top list. Gifts may vary from the simple greeting cards to the most luxurious car. Well, does the cost really matter? In some circumstance it does but it does not matter the most. As what I always said, it is the “thought” that counts.

Though for most people the tag price of your present may “tickle the spine”, however, it is beyond denial that a “personal” touch expresses more sincerity for the receiver. Continue reading “How to Make Gel Candles as Gifts for Your Loved One” »
